Tell me about Ephesus

Ephesus is a friendly multi-generational church who seeks to share the love of Jesus in our community and our world in a way that will change people's lives forever. You will always be welcome regardless of your age or background.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error. You will find dynamic, Bible-based preaching from our pulpit. Our music is relevent to today's worshiper using modern day worship songs and hymns with a full band and choir. Our desire is not to earn the label of traditional or contemporary, but to be God honoring. Our goal is to help you encounter the presence of the Living God and to honor Him understanding that worship is for Him. We believe you will enjoy our service, but more importantly pray that you will be moved.

Can you give me directions?

When should I arrive?

Sunday morning worship is at 9:00 and 10:30, with some exceptions during special holidays. Each service contains the same sermon and music. On your first visit, it's best to arrive about 15 minutes early, or a little more if you need help finding your children's classroom locations. Our LifeGroups for all ages, including programs for children and students coincide with the 9:00 and 10:30 worship services. Typically children in the1st grade and up attend the worship services with their parents rather than attend a children's program for both sessions (which covers the same material).

You can also attend our Sunday evening service at 6:00 p.m., which includes a completely different sermon and music set. We do not have evening service on certain holidays or the summer months of June and July.

I've come to Sunday service, now what?

What's the next step for getting connected at Ephesus? We believe the best next step is to visit a LifeGroup, which meet during both service times. The friendly folks at the Welcome Center in the Atrium can help you find a group that best matches your life-stage and interests. LifeGroups are a great place to meet with groups of like-minded people for fellowship, worship, prayer, encouragement, and support. All fellowships are under the leadership of excellent pastors and teachers who offer sound biblical insight. The groups frequently meet for activities away from the church and join in opportunities for service. We understand that not everybody finds a fit in the first visit to a LifeGroup. It may take you a few visits or you may even want to visit several groups to see if one feels right for you. Don't give up! People who get involved in a LifeGroup quickly become a part of the heartbeat of Ephesus.
